Station Header – generic name for a safety group (e.g. Assembly Station, Fire Team, Medical, Sand-by, Lifeboat/Raft station).

Location: divided into Decks and Zones.

Types of assignment:

• Emergency – for general alarm, fire alarm, etc. Mainly involving all the safety crew.
  When all the crew should come to their assembly stations.

• Rescue – for abandon ship alarm. Mainly involving all the safety crew.
  When all the crew should come to their rescue stations.

• Secondary assignment – for specific Emergency and Rescue cases usually involving a small part of the crew team.
  Man overboard, oil spill, chemical spill situations.
