How to fix "00:00:00" is not a valid time error


The article describes how to fix the error “ ’00:00:00’ is not a valid time” by changing the values in Regional Settings.


Issue description

The following error message usually occurs when the user opens crew personal details:

“ ’00:00:00’ is not a valid time”.

The error forces APM to close and kicks the current user out of the system. In this case, it is necessary to check Regional Settings and make sure that it is set up correctly.

Solution

If your Adonis systems are located on our Cloud/Azure, the user can see the Regional Settings icon just after logging.

 

 

If Adonis system is installed locally, the user should open Windows Control Panel to reach the regional settings of language, date, and time.

On the sample below the Adonis system is located on the Cloud.
Changing of language format from Norwegian to English and location from the United States to Norway was helpful for fixing the issue.

If you as a user experience the wrong display of date/time values in APM, we suggest changing the date/time values via regional settings.

For example, you need European date settings instead of American to see dates in APM as DD-MM-YYYY, not like MM-DD-YYYY.
