How to login/connect to Adonis Cloud


This article explains how to connect to Adonis Cloud through Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)/ Remote Desktop (RD) solution.


Introduction

For the customer using Adonis Cloud,  we provide a connection solution through Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is a desktop and app virtualization service that runs on the cloud.

Here's what you can do when you run Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) on Azure:

  • Set up a multi-session Windows 10 deployment that delivers a full Windows 10 with scalability

  • Virtualize Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise and optimize it to run in multi-user virtual scenarios

  • Provide Windows 7 virtual desktops with free Extended Security Updates

  • Bring your existing Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and Windows Server desktops and apps to any computer

  • Virtualize both desktops and apps

  • Manage Windows 10, Windows Server, and Windows 7 desktops and apps with a unified management experience

Download client

Before you start, you need to download the official Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)/ Remote Desktop (RD) application.

The link might change in the future. You need to always search for the most recent version on the official Microsoft website.

The connection is also available through the web client, but we do not encourage to use it due to the limitations in performance, using printers, etc.

Getting started

Windows login

  1. Run the Remote Desktop application.

  2. Click the “Subscribe” button.
    Or you can use the “Subscribe with URL” button - https://rdweb.wvd.microsoft.com/api/arm/feeddiscovery.

     

  3. Sign in with your user account when prompted.

    • For User name, give the user name of an account with permission to access resources.
      It should end with @adoniscloud.onmicrosoft.com

    • For Password, type in the temporary password provided by the support consultant.
      Then you will be asked to change the password.

    • For Update Password, type in a temporary password as a “Current password” and input the “New password” that you will use for the login.
      If you don't have an account, ask your manager to request it from Adonis by contacting Adonis support support@adonishr.com

  4. After you've finished, the Connection Center should display the remote resources.

    Once subscribed to a feed, the feed content will update automatically on a regular basis. Resources may be added, changed, or removed based on changes made by your administrator.

macOS login

  1. Run the Remote Desktop application.

  2. On the Connection Center screen, tap +, and then tap Add workspace.

  3. In the Feed URL field, enter the URL for the feed you want to add and tap Next.

  4. Provide your credentials when prompted.

    • For User name, give the user name of an account with permission to access resources.
      It should end with @adoniscloud.onmocrosift.com .

    • For Password, type in the temporary password provided by the support consultant.
      Then you will be asked to change the password.

    • Then you will be asked to change the password.
      Type in a temporary password as a “Current password” and input the “New password” that you will use for the login.

After you've finished, the Connection Center should display the remote resources.
