The differences between the account email and email in Personal Details

NOTE! starting from v.2021.40.5 (APP-4129) we have only one table for emails - PW001P0T

There are two database tables storing the email address of the employee: APP (WEB_CP_ACCOUNT) and APM (PW001P0T).
Both tables contain e-mails but have different purposes.

This article explains the differences between the two tables and how they are related to the User Interface.

WEB_CP_ACCOUNT table

WEB_CP_ACCOUNT table stores information about the APP account.

The change of account email (WEB_CP_ACCOUNT) in APP results in an update of email in APM > Personal Details (PW001P0T).
(if it was the same before the update, it would be the same after the update)

N.B. The email in personal details and account email should be the same. If they are different: when the account email is changed, the email in Personal Details will not be changed!!!!

PW001P0T table (APM > Personal Details)

PW001P0T table stores employee e-mail address under Personal Details in both APM and APP.

When the email is changed in APM > Personal Details, the email in APP > Personal Details is also changed and vise versa.

However, the account email in APP (WEB_CP_ACCOUNT) remains unchanged.
