Out of the box, we can offer an increase to 35 days of point-in-time recovery.

However, there are scenarios where the short-term backup may not be sufficient. For this purpose, we can offer additional long-term retention backup which e.g. allows us to restore the backup on a new server.

For enhanced business continuity we offer geo-replication to other Microsoft Azure locations.

Encryption

The database has transparent data encryption with a service-managed key. This will encrypt the database, associated backups, and transaction log files at rest. See details on this page:
