AWR Add Vacancy

Now, let us move forward to find out how to add a vacancy to the recently created layout.

First, select the layout to which you want to add a vacancy and switch to the Vacancy tab.

There are two ways you can use to add a new position:

If you choose to create a vacancy from scratch, click Add Vacancy on the Vacancy tab. This makes appear additional vacancy-specific tabs where you can provide vacancy details as well as add certificates required to apply for a certain position:

On the Vacancy Details tab, the following fields are available:

  • Vac Code. Enter a vacancy code. A code may contain up to 10 characters (both letters and digits).

  • Passive. Select No for an active vacancy and Yes to hide a vacancy in the vacancies list. As a rule, the value is set to Yes if a vacancy is no longer active.

  • Contract Type. Select a contract type from the drop-drop menu. For more information on how to add contract types, see General Codes Tables.

  • Vessel Type. Select a vessel type from the drop-down menu. For more information on how to add vessel types, see General Codes Tables.

  • Layout. Select the layout to which you want to add a vacancy. By default, the active layout is selected. You can select multiple layouts for a vacancy to be displayed on multiple pages.

  • Description. Enter a vacancy name.

  • Field. Enter a department or an area in which a vacancy is available.

  • Job Type. Select a job type from the drop-down menu. For more information on job types, see General Codes Tables.

  • Header. Enter a vacancy subject.

  • SubHeader. Enter any additional information that you want to display as a sub header in the vacancy description.

  • Organization. Enter a name of the company which opens a vacancy.

  • Location. Specify the location of the company.

  • Closing Date. Specify a vacancy end date. Enter the date manually or select it in the pop-up calendar.

  • Configure Attached File. Upload a file containing detailed information about a vacancy which will be available for web applicants. To do this, click Add, browse for a file to be uploaded and click Upload. When completed, click OK to save the attachment.

  • Workflow. Select an application workflow to be used for a specific vacancy. For more information on application workflows, see Workflow Setup.

Highlighted fields are mandatory.

On filling out the fields, make sure to assign positions/ranks that suit the vacancy as well as the required travel and medical documents. For more information, see Assign Positions and Assign Documents.

Once completed, switch to the Vacancy Details tab and click Save to view a created vacancy in the area above the Vacancy Details tab:
