Crewlink: booking offline


This article explains how to process urgent bookings offline correctly.


Introduction

Occasionally, there arises a need for the crew travel manager to expediently arrange bookings outside regular office hours. In such instances, the crew travel manager will contact a Crewlink agent by phone and make the necessary flight arrangements for the crew.

In such situations, flight information is not entered into Adonis and Crewlink systems; all transactions occur through phone and email communication. This poses additional challenges for data synchronization, as there are no documented flight records in either Crewlink or Adonis databases.

Problem

Bookings issued offline missing in Crewlink and Adonis.

Solution

If there is an existing booking request for this crew in Adonis:

  1. Open the request in the Crewlink Embedded window.

  2. Open Messages and ask the Crewlink agent to update the booking with the ticket issued offline.
    Specify the PIN, Travel ID, or PNR if possible to make it easier for the agent.

     

If there is no booking request for this crew in Adonis:

  1. Create a new booking request in the Crew Change module.

  2. Submit the request to Crewlink.

  3. Open Messages and ask the Crewlink agent to update the booking with the ticket issued offline.
    Specify the PIN, Travel ID, or PNR if possible to make it easier for the agent.
