Description

The Crew Card Maintenance is implemented as an APM plug-in. 

The Crew Card, is a powerful identification of an onboarding or onsigning person. It contains the MXP chargeID that will be used to shop/pay services to various POS locations within the vessel. And it includes a doorlock_string to open and lock the cabin's doors.

Location

After installing the plug-in, it will be available in the following location:

Tools > Export > Visionline Interface

Interface

After setting up the plug-in as described in the 'Housekeeping' section below, you start the plug-in. 

In the plugin, the Onboard and On-signer crews are filtered and displayed. 

Green is Crew signing on and black is crew currently onboard. 

Configuration

Printer and Card Reader Setup 

1) In the Settings, you can select a printer, select where the card layout location is and select a card reader. 



2) For the Printers that can only read pages 0-15, it is possible to locate the second card reader 

Check the "Use second RFID Reader to program"



3) The logfile folder can be located outside APM. 



4) To repeat reading the RFID UID of the card, the Rescan Card button should be selected. 



5) If the "Rescan Card" button is checked, it will be visible in the main interface. This function will repeat reading the RFID UID of the card.





Visionline WebAPI Setup 



1) Click the Visionline Tab

2) Locate the WebAPI URL

3) Type in the UserID and Password

4) Select the page where the doorlock_String will be printed. Please note that the doorlock_String requires four pages. In the example above pages 5-8 will be used for the doorlock_string. 

5) Click Save. 



Functionality

The following will be performed: 

Reads RFID UID of the card. 

Write ChargeID for the MXP POS.

Write the DoorLock_String of the cabin assigned to the person. 

Print the card layout and design of the card. 





1) Select a crew

2) Click Print Card



If it's successful the following information will be displayed. 



The main card is GUEST, and the sub-card access is called JOINER.

There will be only one GUEST per cabin. 



Update Card

The following will be performed in this function.:

Update StartDate and ExpireDate.

Update Cabin's DoorLock_String. 





1) Select a crew to update.

2) Click Update Card button

3) Click YES to confirm. 



Below is a successful message that the Update Card is successful. 





If you are using the Second Card Reader, Update Card will write the ChargeID for MXP. 



1) Select a crew

2) Click Update Card



Rescan Card

This process is optional, you can activate this button under settings. This process repeats reading the RFID UID of the card and updates it again to the database. 

1) Select a crew

2) Click Rescan Card



Cancel Card

If you cancel the card, it deactivates the following access:

Deactivates the MXP POS.

Deactivates the cabin access.  

1) Select crew 

2) Click Cancel Card



There is also automated cancelation of the card.

  • If there is a lost card, and a new card was printed. The old card that was lost will be automatically deactivated. 

  • If the card also met the ExpirationDate, it will be automatically deactivated, this makes the card unable to use the MXP POS and access the cabin door.

Installation

After downloading the plug-in click the installer and hit install.

The plug-in will be installed below the given location in the directory labeled PLUGIN

On start-up APM will detect the plug-in and make it available in menu Tools>Export > Evolis Interface 



*Requires Crew card layout this will be printed at the front and back of the card (.fr3).

This should be located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Adonis\APM\PLUGINS
