Step-by-step guide

If the itinerary changes, then you have three options: Flag as modified, Cancel Flight, and Keep Booking.

Let’s check in detail how each of those options works.

Flag as modified

If selected, the record status does not change and no update is sent to Crewlink at this stage.

However, the booking will be shown in the Flight Inbox under the Action Needed folder for you to request the needed change in Crewlink.

The change request is not submitted automatically. You need to select the booking and open it in the Crewlink embedded window, then click Change Itinerary and select the needed changes.

After you have requested the change, you need to tack track the booking status.

  • If the booking is REVALIDATED successfully, then the changes are applied without any issues.

  • If the booking is set for REFUND then the changes cannot be applied and the airline is issuing a refund.
Then, depending on your agreement with Crewlink:
    - Either the agent will prepare a new request PENDING_CONFIRMTION with options for you on this booking considering the requested change.
    - Or it will be necessary for you to re-book manually from Adonis.

After the booking is REVLIDATED REVALIDATED or a new ticket is ISSUED, it is necessary to untick the action needed on this request in the Flight Inbox module.

Keep Booking

If selected, the flight booking remains unchanged.

This might be required if you want to keep it as it is and use it.
e.g. If there is no big date range between the old and new itinerary and it is ok for the crew to arrive earlier/later.

Cancel Flight

The cancellation is required only if the crew planning was canceled, and the crew is embarking/disembarking any time soon.
