On the bottom of Rotation Maintenance screen, you can see two tabs By Plan and By Filter.

By Plan lists all activated rotation plans, from where you can select 1 plan in a time to work with.

By Filter gives you possibility to select several plans using cascade filtration:

If you set a certain checkbox under Vessel Type/Pool, etc., all options to the right (lower levels of organization) will be filtered accordingly.

E.g. let’s imagine you have 2 vessel types: River and Cruise.

If you select River vessels under Vessel Type column - the Pools, Vessels, Departments & Ranks which are linked to Cruise vessels will be filtered away.

And further, if you select some vessel - departments linked to this vessel will be available for filtering to the right, and so on.

It is important to know that By Plan lists the rotation tree based on positions as they exist in Organization structure.

By Filter provides you possibility to create the rotation tree based on ranks that exist in your general codes. All positions that refer to rank mentioned will be displayed when filtering.

The highest node of each organization level reads No Filter but in order to visualize your selections you can right-click at any column and Tag/Untag all nodes.

You can group plan either by:

Rank/Vessel:

Vessel/Rank:

You can also choose a Start date or Days before today from which you would like to see the planning in Time span section.

When all needed settings are in place, click Open button to see the result.

Note: if you miss some department or position in the list, please make sure that this department/position in linked to corresponding code in Organization Structure:

  • No labels
