View Logs

To view the content of the log table, navigate to the Plugin Log node in Replicator Manager. It contains a table of events representing a row subset of the log table and a set of UI controls to control the log view.

The Time Type checkbox enables you to choose a type of time displayed in the Event Time column of the event table. On choosing a type, Replicator Manager translates the time of events and time of the UI controls to the chosen type. There are three time types available:

  • Server time

  • UTC

  • Local time

Show time zone offset checkbox controls showing/hiding a time zone offset when Time Type is set to Server time.

The Jump to a time point section allows setting date and time after/before which to show the events in the table:

  • Fetch events after. Select the option and specify a date, time and timezone offset accordingly.

  • Fetch events before. Select the option and specify a date, time and timezone offset accordingly.

When done, click the Jump button.

The log status bar shows the summary of the plugin log table in the database and position of the current event set in the table:

  • Offset shows an offset of the first row in the current event set relative to the beginning of the log table (the rows of the table in a database are arranged in ascending order of the primary key).

  • Fetched shows the number of events in the current event set retrieved from the SQL server.

  • Total shows the number of all log rows stored in the database.

  • Log range shows a time range covered by the log table that is time of the first and last events in the log.
