APP Timesheets module

Description

The Timesheets module allows viewing seafearers' registered timecards (work, rest and overtime hours).

The functionality is implemented in Adonis Employee Portal only.

Functionality

The section contains the description of the Timesheets module commands. By following the guidelines, you will be well on your way to working with the module.

To get started, first, log into Adonis Employee Portal. On the Home page, click the Timesheets tile:

On clicking, you are then redirected to the page:

On the Overview page, you might find the timesheets with the following statuses:

  • Processed

  • Submitted

  • Approved

Each timesheet includes a timesheet period, seafearer’s name and position as well as work, rest and overtime hours.

 

View Timesheet Details

You can see all the registered timecards in a timesheet. To do it, on the Overview page, click on the timesheet to be viewed. On clicking, the timesheet details appear on the screen:

The page contains rest and work hours by dates.

The Rest (gap) timeblocks are empty spaces between registered blocks. Such timeblocks are calculated as rest hours.

This section enables you to perform a one-time setup of the module.

Define Access Permissions

You can define different roles as well as set permission levels for each role. To do this, in the Adonis Administrator Portal, navigate to Access Control > Roles:

To define user roles:

  1. Click Add to make the Add/Edit Role dialog appear where you can define a role name:

     

  2. Click Save to confirm the changes and add a new role.

 On selecting a user role, you can set the permission levels. Within the Roles window, proceed as described below:

  1. From the drop-down menu, select the user role for which you want to set permissions.

  2. In the grid, select Timesheets. This expands the list of submodules.

  3. Next to Overview, select the permission level to be provided: Grant Access or Read Only.

Define Default Report

To benefit from e-signing timesheets, you must define the default report. To do this, first, log into the Adonis Administrator Portal and navigate to Reports > Maintain Reports:

In the appeared grid, select the report to be defined by default and click Edit. Clicking the button expands the grid:

In the grid, select the Default for Timesheets checkbox.

Make sure the Default for Timesheets option is selected for a single report. Otherwise, the feature will not be applied.

On completing, click Save to proceed.
